Too often, md's are not conscious of proper dosage methods. Actually, it may be difficult sometimes to do this without proper genetic testing which utilizes pharmacogenomics. the body does not understand 'over time' that it is not so called ' digesting properly'. The negative feedback mechanisms and positive regulators that are the mechanisms for overall regulation do not withstand delay. If something appeared incorrect, they would immediately function/not function depending on the stimulus. if something mitigates a pathway or system, it will either respond accordingly to maintain its homeostatic levels or shut down. Of course, there is fluctuation and some bodies can and can not benefit from the compound wholly.
