I don't know if you've had a child, or if they still recommend the sitz bath afterwards these days, but the principle of what i do it the same.
I take long hot baths, water hot enough to turn me rosy! Afterwards, drain the water, turn on the nothing but cold water, use a sponge or wash rag and drizzle cold water on you starting at bellybutton, down over tummy, genitals and butt. Do this for at least 5 mins. Keep the rest of you warm, try wrapping beach towel around back and shoulders.
The principle here is that toxins go to the cold areas of our bodies ... the feet, the sinuses, the lungs, naturally ... you're "showing" your lymph system where to take the drainage...DOWN AND OUT.
