Hellman's mayonnaise
Just been reading the 'what kind of dressing do you use' thread, and the thought occurred to me about Hellmans mayonnaise. Does anyone know why we can't have it on a candida diet? It has less
Sugar in than carrots, tomatoes, and onions. It is absolutely delicious, and would run the mostly bland candida diet into the pleasure zone.
So, whilst I accept it is banned, like all shop bought mayonnaise, is there anyone out there who can actually tell me why? It just seems like the candida diet writers are determined that we shall all be deprived of all gastronic decadence at all costs, even when there seems no reason for it!
Maybe my loving memories of it are causing me such brain fog as to be missing something fundamentally dangerous about Hellman's .......
I would feel better with a justifiable reason for my hellman's abstinence, if anyone has one, apart from it just being in the 'do not eat' lists of candida diets!
