I am really sorry to hear about your problems. I totally relate to your story. The good thing is you don't have any pain. That's a plus!!!

I would not recommand surgery because the chances of success are as big as the chances of failure!!!!

Muscle relaxers won't fix your problem...

I completely endorse www.tmj-help.org and their relaxing program. That's what I did when I had tmj problems. I joined the program and followed the simple exercises they gave me. It was really helpful and pretty cheap too!

Now the pain is almost gone (well, you don't have the pain!) and my jaw don't pop or click as much as it did before. The program didn't totally cure me but God, I feel so much better today.

Maybe you should give it a chance, it's worth it ;-)
