First of all, I have to remark how lucky you are that you and your wife are on the same wavelength with the zapping. It's a sad thing to have a wonderful and sweet spouse that needs to be kept in the dark about zapping because the novelty would be too extreme for his medical beliefs.

Imagine how it's going to be to do a liver cleanse, with the potential of being very sick and not being able to have anyone to support you because you can't say what's really going on. Very scary. That's what I'll be facing soon...alone. I have a very terrifying secondary health problem that it's likely to exacerbate during that night. Is it any wonder that I admire your situation of self health companionship and support? (^_^)

Congratulations on getting a positive end to all the pain that you both endured. I'm very happy to hear that good came from the bad, so I printed out your post. Hope I don't get SO BAD(next Saturday) that I have to read it over and over.
