Yes, that is way too much. You're suppose to start off with a 1/2 tsp. I took 1-2TBS AND I was drinking coconut milk. That was too much, too soon.
Take it slow and take a detox bath to clean your skin.
I don't know why I wake up so sweaty. I think the alkalizing diet, cayenne and coconut oil raises my body temp. Similar to taking a thermo fat burner. When I do wake up sweaty, I take a detox bath to kill the smell and get rid of the toxins.
I would drop back down to 1/2 tsp of coconut oil and stick with that for awhile.
