You could try learning the basics about the butekyo technique. (I just mentionedin in my post above and im not sure I spelt it right.) My Dr in Sydney wrote a book on it which is said to be *very* good http://www.yourhealth.com.au/

In the Philipines they use a cup of warm water to help children with asthma if no medicine is available (apparently). Its not wonderful, but helps sometimes. I find breathing peppermint essential oil to help alot during an attack also. (Get a good one no el cheapo.) But for other peoples kids whos parents may think your a bit whacko using oils and such it might just be a good idea to try and get an inhaler. Not sure where you are, but you dont need a script here for them anymore.
