at this point mom got her hearing back (she had lost like 80 percent of it earlier in the illness) and her sight doesn't seem to be affected, but she had the paralysis on the left side of her face.... the antivirals given us by the doctor don't seem to work... i've gotten her started on the olive leaf thing and we have been going to acupuncture.... there's been a SLIGHT improvmenet but nothing too major yet....

plus she gets these excruciating pain attacks :-( otherwise it's constant pain (but more bearable, though still terrible).....

Dear white tiger would u also know what to do for bell's palsy? the doctor gave us 6 days worth of steroids, but that didn't do much -- plus mom's got high blood pressure so we don't want to push it with the steroids....

wondering if it might be worth it to go see a homeopathic doctor....

tomorrow we have an appointment with the western doctor... not looking forward to the meeting at all...................
