The inner child is our true self, when innocence reigned, and all things were possible.

The inner child knows no pain, for we shelter it - with walls or masks, or attitudes.

The inner child is happy and imaginative and loving in its purest form.

The inner child dances, a magical dance that only the imagination can construe.

For true enjoyment, the inner child must emerge, and embody our present self with its delightful views and enchanting attitudes.

When someone allows through pure love, for the inner child to surface, they are permitted a glimpse of a most elusive being.

If one becomes attuned to the inner child, it becomes easy to be at peace - for the inner child needs only love, even if only by oneself, and the simplest things in life. Tweet
