I wasn't sure to laugh or cry today while trying to eat at a local restaurant. (It was my mom's birthday and I couldnt get out of it).

I was looking at the ingredients on a bottle of Heinz ketchup on the table and shook my head in disgust. High Fructose corn syrup and Corn syrup were listed as ingredients, followed by "Spice", and "Natural Flavor".


Then further up the label, Heinz brags how they stand by the high standards originated by the original Mr. Heinz. What bullcrap!


When I remarked about the "spice" and "natural flavor" parts of the label, my family speculated that must mean that there wasnt enough room for them to add all the herbs and spices in making the ketchup, and that the Natural flavor was probably lemon juice or something organic. I just shook my head at them , because you can't reason with people who want to remain brainwashed. Tweet
