foul smelling urine

This is my first time visiting this forum. I'm not sure if I'm in the right place for this question or not. But I will try it.

For many months now I have been experiencing a very foul smell in my urine. The best I can describe it is that it has a "smokey" country ham smell. It is very unpleasant and it worries me. I can not relate it to food or any medicine. I asked my doctor about it and she did not have an answer. All my tests were normal and I did not have an infection.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before? I would appreciate any input. Thanks!
