A good point to bring up here that validates your post with a real life testament:
I began my latest (and hopefully lifetime commitment this time) health quest in March 2005. The first thing I did was transition from bad fats to good fats, including high quality fish and cod liver oil AND sought highly mineralized foods to ingest (lots of greens) including green drinks. Summer 2005 was the first year since my late 30's (I never used to burn) that no matter how much sun I got, or when I got it (all day a time or three) I did not burn.
I did not burn at all this year either... I just tan now almost overnight.
