Re: getting worse, don't know what to do
I am dealing with nerve root inflammation and some neural damage from a spinal injury. I have also had symptoms of Fibromyalgia that date from before my initial injury. The unexplained bruising is also something I must deal with. My Naturopath says the bruising is a result of the inflammation. To keep levels of inflammation down, I take a lot of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory. Things that work best for me are mangosteen capsules, fish oil, Evening Primrose oil, turmeric, Vitamin C and MSM. I also use a green food powder that helps keep energy levels up.
Diet is also very important as I am sure you know. I must avoid too much
Sugar (I can handle small amounts like to sweeten tea), wheat, and nightshade veggies like tomatoes and potatoes. Inflammation producing foods are very common and differ from person to person; grains, dairy, and
Sugar are usually culprits though because they can affect the immune system and increase inflammation.
Fasting can help heal auto-immune diseases and relieve inflammation, but must be done with care. If you are strong enough try some basic cleanses like liver and colon. EFT tapping and deep breathing can help relax muscle tenseness if you can stay focused. I must admit when the pain is the worst, its hard to keep focused in relaxing, although it does help when you can get your mind off the pain.
CFS and Fibromyalgia are still mysterious diseases in so many ways and affect people differently. Cleansing, proper nutrition, and anti-inflammatory supplements can all help ease the symptoms, but, like you, I am still searching for a cure. All I know is the better I stick to a schedule of regular cleansing and proper eating, the better I feel and the less symptomatic I seem to be-less bruising, disruptions of senses etc.
