Palm Pilot sychronization help, lost all contact info

After several years of using my Palm pilot, I have let the battery down too low and it lost all my information. Also, I have been transferring to a newer computer.

Basically, the palm pilot was causing my problems of not holding a charge and resetting and during the hot synch, I have lost all my contact information on both computers and the handheld! ARGH! Is there any way to get it back or am I just screwed?
