Re: question for angelwings

Hi sure, I don't recommend going vegan right off the bat. If you are eating meat and dairy try to cut it out in this fashion. This is what worked for me, granted this process took most of my life as I always hated meat and stopped eating it as soon as possible (i.e. - my Eastern European parents let me), but I think the best way to do it is over 6 months or a year. 1) red meat 2) chicken 3) fish and dairy - if you feel you can't give both up at once definitely do the dairy first, it made the difference for me with period regularity. Most health food stores have some great meat/dairy replacements to ease you into it. But definitely increase the amount of raw foods you eat and buy a juicer. My juicer is like my best friend (sad I know ;) ) For recipes, do a Google search but I think you can start with these sites http://vegweb.com/ http://www.living-foods.com/recipes/ http://www.vegcooking.com/searchrecipes.asp I promise it's more fun than it sounds. I did not start to enjoy cooking until I had to find creative things to do with vegetables. Let me know how it goes :)
