Looking thru more informative threads on these boards i find out that my excema--patches on either side of my nose--is actually part of the sebbariac dermatitis i have. I didn't know that before. (Have it so badly on my scalp that it's hard to tell when it gets better or worse.)
So then i go to the sebbariac dermatitis support forum and some people believe that this is caused by a yeast called Malassezia that thrives off of oleic acid. So, it may actually be the oleic acid feeding the yeast that is the problem NOT a nut/seed allergy. From my understanding, oleic acid will be in most oils regardless of whether they are from a seed or not.
does any of this make any sense?
I may stop oil pulling for a while and look into Apple Cider Vinegar. I've had luck with putting this directly on my face and my face is much smoother in the morning.
