Cooking tomatoes is more healthy than raw tomatoes


This one is for all the %100 raw food people. There are many studies that proves that cooking tomateos is more nutritious than eating raw tomatoes. Cooked tomatoes brings out and releases the lycopene in tomatoes. If you don't cook the tomatoes then they are still nutritious but they don't have as much lycopene which is needed to prevent cancer in woman and prostate enlargement in men. Tomato vitamins and nutrients are locked inside the tomatoe when they are uncooked so when you eat them, they basically go to waste or you don't get the full nutritious value. You still get some vitamins out of the tomatoe but not as much - very little - they are basically for taste when you eat them uncooked. You can read more about it below.
