I have been dealing with a peri-anal horseshoe-shaped fistula (two separate fistulas, one on each buttock) since April of 2004. I went through two other doctors before I found one that was successful in treating me.

I have the pig collagen fistula plugs in me, and I can say without a doubt that it was a God-send for me. Both fistulas responded and healed, and I am now back to normal. I had the surgery in late September, and now in mid-November the fistula are a distant memory.

I am working hard to change my previous eating habits, and beginning a new exercise routine, as well as seeking natural, homeopathic maintenance programs to help keep the fistulas at bay. I don't ever want to go through that again!
