Hello - This is a copy of an answer I posted some time back about the differences in parasite treatments and dosing amounts - smaller doses over a longer period of time might create "super parasites":

Everybody has they're favorite way of using herbs. There are basically three ways of getting the medicinal benefits of herbs: #1 Raw powder form #2 Alcohol based tinctures #3 steeped in teas. All herbs start out the same way, they are then cut and sifted for use in teas, or heated and "boiled down" (or soaked) in an alcohol base to make concentrated drops OR they are taken in the ground powder form.
