I used bloodroot paste

I experimented and used bloodroot paste that I made myself, bloodroot powder and water, on a sore on my arm about a year and a half ago and the action of bloodroot scared me more then any herb I have ever used.
The bloodroot ate a 1/2 inch hole in my arm!
I still have the scar!
The sore went away on it's own, but the bloodroot scar stayed.
Bloodroot seems way too strong for me. I am actually afraid of it's seeming flesh eating properties. Supposedly bloodroot only eats necrotic tissue, but I am not certain of that.
You folks that use bloodroot are very brave.
