It takes time - be patient with yourself.

but it sounds like you are getting somewhere :-) and that is great news!

And not everyone is visual, I see the colours quite well.

Get some coloured card with the red/white/blue on it and look at it before doing the exercise, you'll find it much easier to visualise then.
