are amalgam fillings really bad?

I've been doing a lot of research and I'm still debating whether or not to replace my dental fillings. There are claims out there that people have had miraculous healing within 24 hours of replacing their Amalgam fillings, but its interesting to note that mercury levels actually rise for a while after the procedure.

So I was wondering if anyone with Acne that's reading this please respond whether or not they have Amalgam fillings, and has anyone succesfully healed their Acne without removing their amalgams?
