arthritis relief

Hello Everyone,

I'm concerned about my father. He has had osteo Arthritis for years. Now he has shooting pain down his leg and/or up through his instep. Clearly, either the Arthritis is getting worse or there's something else wrong. He has been getting chiropractic treatments for a few years with relief, but recently has not been able to relieve the pain. His doctor says the only thing to do is get cortisone shots. We know these are not good for you.....any suggestions for relief?
