Re: Cocovida Germany.

I have to agree, I ordered cocovida virgin coconut oil here in the UK only two weeks ago, and the first thing that struck me was a very strong smell underlying the coconut smell, a strong chemical smell .... plastic? petroleum? cant quite place it but it also as a most peculiar taste? The texture is also more solid and doesnt melt as easily in the hand as others do.


Although I am by no means a connoiseur of coconut oil, I have decided not to order it again as it is not palatable and the smell is off putting.

I have ordered the 50ml sample from the coconut oil online site and look forward to sampling their brand, if they are willing to send out samples it bodes well and the total cost (including p&p) for a litre will be less than £5 extra than the 500ml cocovida.
