Re: Liver flush after antibiotics?

Hi Liza

After a course of Antibiotics , it is important that you replenish your digestive system/GI tract with a good probiotic. If you do not do that you might get invasion by harmful and pathogenic bacteria leading to digestive problems and disorders.

A good probiotic should have a certain and sure bacteria count (revival rate) and I prefer live bacteria. They should have at least 10 strains with many colonizing strains. This will make sure that the different areas of the GI tract get the attention from the bacteria as different strains work at different regions. Make sure too that the bacteria are protected from the strong stomach acids when ingested so that they can be properly delivered to the intestines where they are most effective.

Probiotics is now beginning to be recognized as the body's second immune system!!

Hope this is informative and useful
Take care
