Re: Lauricidin
I have used Lauricidin for about 2 years. Lately, since August, I have not had the money to buy the Lauricidin, but I do plan on getting it once I get ahead financially. Anyway, I have used it, and I do believe it has reduced my outbreaks. If I do get an outbreak, it is shortlived and the lesion is smaller than usual. However, since I have taken it for some time, if I do break out, I do increase my dosage. Since August, I have been taking anywhere betwee 1,500 mg - 3,000 mg. of lysine on most days, and I have not had a breakout. I have been wondering if the Lauricidin has had anything to do with this. Also, my son developed a painful ulcer in his mouth and he took lauricidin and it cleared up within 48 hours (He does not know why I take it). I do feel its very good for the immune system. When I was taking it, I never got really sick with a cold or virus. As a matter of fact, I haven't been sick since I stopped taking it. I would personally recommend it. Good Luck. I would also recommend watching your intake of foods that contain a lot of arginine. There is a website, but I cannot remember it; maybe if you google arginine in foods you could find it. I also feel lysine is very helpful. Again, good luck. I hope it works for you.
