The study and findings were aired on cable tv, the show was hosted by a forensic psychiatrist from harvard who teaches pathology of serial killers, etc. It is a cable special, I think it was called, Understanding Evil, a Study of Serial Killers. The mds ranked the 22 worst levels of pathological, antisocial and criminal behavior of the worst killers and mass murderers, level 22 being the highest and worst serial killers, level 1 being a common killer. They examined what was wrong with these men. They interviewed and did examinations on some of the worst serial killers. It is a popular show and has aired twice already on cable. I am sure they will run the show again.
It surprised me that so many of the worst level serial killers had large cysts, egg sacs, in thier brains.
The md said they found the cysts while these men were still on trial. Having a cyst in the brain is NO EXCUSE for thier crimes, it just explained it medically to the mds. As stated above, two other factors were present and involved in the makings of serial killers, 1. Very traumatic and harmful early environment, 2.lack of any intervention or help all thru life, and 3. the cysts in the brain. These 3 factors were present in the cases of the serial killers the mds studied.
It is was a fascinating program, explaining evil actions. I am sure it will run again on cable.
