Re: I am having some problem in my breast.
Hi Monica,
I would have to agree with the doctor that it is a hormone imbalance. I would look at your diet and make any necessary changes. Foods rich in phyto-nutrients like yams, alfalfa sprouts and dark green leafy vegetables are beneficial. Sage is known for assisting in reducing milk in lactating women.
Any sexual arousal can cause the release of hormones and without fulfillment there is no offsetting hormone to balance the body. Your symtoms are fairly common and most likely to occur in high school girls or women who are not sexually active.
The medication that the doctor gave you was most likely the same medication that is given to lactating women when they want to stop producing milk. This is a band aid not a long term solution. Once you started being sexually aroused your symptoms came back... is this correct? If you are considering abstinence for a long period of time, I would try changing certain aspects of your diet and see if that helps.
This will not affect your ability to have a child and will not affect your sex life, in fact just the opposite…an active sex life will most likely fix the problem.
I would not worry about it. This is a very common question.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other concerns,
Namaste,
Kelley Franzmann
