Re: Not sure about enemas and colonics?
An enema bag or bucket will prove to be a good investment through the years. If you don't have pure water where you live, you can buy bottled Spring water and warm it. If you do this, make sure that you have a bath thermometer to measure the water temperature before filling the bag or can.
The temp should be 103 degress F at prep time. Add one teaspoon of
Sea Salt for each pint of water, or 4 teaspoons for a full bag or 2 qt/litre can.
For a professionally administered colonic, if you go to a trained, experienced therapist with a modern closed pressurized system, you really shouldn't have to worry about the concerns you cite. Express them to her and see how she responds.
But before scheduling an appointment, make sure you feel comfortable with the therapist, and don't be afraid to ask lots of questions. I suggest visiting the studio in advance of making an appointment, and check it out for cleanliness and sanitation. Take a peek in the bathroom and see if you would feel comfortable with it. Inspect the machine and the surroundings, and if you see anything that doesn't look just right, then look for another facility where you do feel comfortable.
After your initial inspection visit you will know if this is the right therapist for you or not. Really.
Best wishes and lots of encouragement,
Valerie
