Re: Biggest Stone Yet
Irovirosa,
Congratulations!
Based on my memory of the first stone I passed, I thought I'd mention that I could feel it 'scooting' from the gallbladder through the bile duct.
It felt a little 'scratchy' but it didn't hurt. There were a few other 'scooting' feelings around the same time, but I didn't 'catch' any leaving my body, though I'm sure they did.
More recently, I did a herbal tea cleanse, and found that the 'pressures' up higher under the ribs were actually stones that hadn't yet dropped into the gallbladder. I am quite certain of this.
I didn't use any
Epsom Salts , and the movement into the gallbladder was somewhat painful, though not intolerable. I found that sitting down relieved the Oo-ing and Ah-ing; and that when I fell asleep sitting they moved on their way, one at a time, without any feeling at all. I have no explanation for this.
When and if I try this tea again, I will take two enteric coated peppermint caps, with meals, for a few days beforehand. Apparently this breaks stones.
Hope this helps.
