Re: Has anyone ever drifted?

Having changed families, cities, countries, states, schools, friends and cultures throughout my entire life – I say it is one big lesson in adaptation.

Yes, sometimes you do get sentimental about family and old friends, but it is also true that if wandering works for you, it will make you stronger and more open minded.

There is no education as efficient as traveling and observing other cultures, different views and modalities.

All the moving and morphing teaches one to be self-sufficient, friendly, resourceful, less fearful, more adventurous and appreciative, less attached to things, more attached to what comes with you everywhere: what you are and what you know and feel.

Ideally, we all could become world citizens. Experience more, stay for months in certain places and days in others. Work around the world, love the life we live.

If it is within your possibilites, follow your heart.
