Re: This life is far to hard
I'm sure there are ppl on the
Acne forum who can give you some good advice too. I've done a full body cleanse (liver, kidneys, bowels, blood...) and it's taken 2 years of doing that for my skin to get better, and trust me - my
Acne was bad. I scared a kid once lol. Now I look pretty normal. The key is persistence. You can't just do one
Liver Flush and leave it (although I'm personally not a fan of liver flushes, taking milk thistle and some other herbs 4x/day long term was enough for me). When you start cleansing, your
Acne will ALWAYS get worse. But things must get worse before they get better. You sacrifice and you get a reward later :)
You're NOT alone in this, so many people in the world have acne. And yes, some have acne WORSE than yours I'm sure. Don't give up, you're not alone in this battle.
You should juice everyday if you don't already. You need to start cleansing ASAP. You may be cleansing for 2 years, but it'll be worth it. Stick it out. Juice carrots, celery, cucumber, oranges and lemons, and leafy greens. That stuff will really help your skin become nourished and clean out the bad stuff from your body.
Eliminate all dairy and meat from your diet. When you're finished cleansing it's your choice to add meat back into you diet in small amounts, but while you're cleansing it won't help you since it's hard to digest. Eat lots of fruits and veggies, particularly raw ones, and lots of raw fats (emphasis on raw). Take flaxseed oil, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil and hempseed oil on salads or mix into homemade green/fruit smoothies. Take 1 tbsp of cod liver oil a day - it's great for skin. If you're concerned about protein, use raw hempseed protein powder (buy at healthfood stores) and mix in some water (or rice milk) and fresh juice or frozen berries to make a smoothie.
You'd benefit from cleansing herbs if you don't want to do another flush. I'd see a herbalist and see what they recommend for you, and then get a tonic made. I live in Canada, and there's a place in Toronto that makes them for you fresh, so they're good quality. With some herbs you can make your own cleansing tonics in the form of a tea, though not every herb can be used this way.
For now, use clay masks (some like
Bentonite clay, I like green french clay - it works better for me) and mix in some water and tea tree oil to make a paste. Leave the mask on your skin for 15 minutes and then wash off. Do this everyday. It'll make you break out a bit at first since it's drawing stuff out fo your pores, but the masks also helps to heal since it soaks up excess oil and the tea tree oil kills bacteria.
Also, I really think you'd benefit from this book: it's called You Can Heal Your Life by Louise L. Hay
Your acne will NEVER get better until you learn to love yourself from the inside out. Right now you judge your worth on your appearance, and that creates major self-esteem issues which concequently makes you depressed. And people who suffer from
Depression have messed up hormones, which creates more acne. It's a never-ending cycle. Also, people who are depressed and have acne often believe the DESERVE acne (you mentioned this in your post - asking what you'd done to deserve this condition). What you think you deserve, you get. If you believe you are a bad person and are being punished with acne, you will continue to get acne.
Let me say this: You are NOT being punished. Take this as a learning opportunity to heal yourself and make yourself even better than before inside and out. That's all problems are (big and small) - opportunities for growth and positive change.
I've been depressed about my acne too and sounded a lot like you. Some days I'd just stay in bed crying. But I started working really hard at dealing with my emotional problems/self esteem issues, and for the first time my acne doesn't look bad. Even my dermatologist was impressed. Once you start to heal on the inside and work in cleansing, everything will fall into place once you stick with it. If you give up, nothing good will happen. Remember, it took me 2 years of persistence! Just go with the flow and change willingly- be willing to accept all the good that comes to you :)
Please read the book and give the other stuff mentioned a try. They all work together, you won't get good results if you only do half of it.
Good luck, and I hope you continue posting :) Curezone is a great support forum for everyone who needs it.
