Re: Self hypnosis

Well, not if you 'Cancel' the thought.

'No', is another good word.

You could build in a limiting 'condition' to the original programming, something like, "Only when I need it." Or, cancel it after the fact, as you are doing now.

The more times you DON'T experience labor when you hear the piece, the weaker grows the programmed response.

We often don't realize it but we are programming ourselves all the time...and deprogramming, too. Every time we reject a thought, the connection in our brain cells is weakened.

We really do OWN our thoughts, and our responses, too.

Besides, you are too smart to go through labor when you don't need to...no matter what music is playing!

And, if another occasion arises when you need it, your brain will revive the talent, ever so easily.

You say you'd like to try it again, perhaps on another subject?

I don't think you can HELP but do it again! Your brain is way ahead of you. Probably you won't need music, either.

You know how you are aware of baby's needs, automatically?

Well, my mom heard my little brother stop breathing...in the middle of the night...rooms away! (They did the right things...all was well.)

We've got all kinds of talents we don't know until we use them.

Trust yourself, Frostyboot. You are in charge.

My best,

fledgling
