I've had a similar problem... here's a question

I basically had the same thing happen to me last year (I was 28 at the time) except that my cycles went from 28 days to around 40-45 days. My gyn told me that I was too young to have peri-menopause and that she thought several things could have caused my cycle changes... hormones in meat, stress, weight gain, and too much Sugar and other bad foods being the main things she mentioned. The longer cycles and heavier periods continued until I started taking vitex (chasteberry). Now, the bleeding isn't nearly as heavy and my cycles are getting a little bit shorter (although they still aren't back to the normal 28 day cycles that I always had before).

My question is... if this is peri-menopause, can it cause infertility? I am trying to get pregnant (just starting this month) and hope I don't have a hard time! Tweet
