SLS is terrible! Why do you think toothpaste creates a foam when brushing? It's the Sodium Lauryl Sulfate that is doing it!...and of course, making shampoo all sudsy too. Try a toothpaste without SLS and you will notice a difference.

I would get ferocious canker sores in my mouth(OUCH!! I had 6 at one time) and my skin specialist advised me to switch toothpastes that didnt have SLS in it. No more canker sores for me!
