Re: Terrible oral sores - "apthous ulcers" - cause?

Have your heard from others about this? I am in agony right now. I have one that is an inch long on the underside of my tongue and I cannot eat or sleep. It is awful.

I am using OTC and Rx topical numbing agents but am going to the doc tomorrow to ask for pain medication. From what I have seen these can last 10-30 days (the major ones) and I feel insane at this point -- it has only been 6 days.

Doctor put me on Famovir -- anti-herpes -- but that does not seem to help. Tweet
