Dog vomiting green balls

My 13 year old Belgian Tervuren has been vomiting soft little green balls about the size of peas. Close examination shows that they are constructed of smaller little balls, almost looking like broccoli. There is no broccoli for him to eat anywhere. I have wondered if bile can curdle like this. And if so what can I do about it?
