in honor of slugger

i'm posting this in honor of slugger our beautiful cat who died today. he had advanced cancer (which we didn't know about). slugger is a gentle soul. we knew he was sick - but had absolutely no idea that he had cancer. we took him to the vet, who felt a mass in his tummy. after opening him up to see what it was, he saw the cancer being too advanced to work with. the good news is that there's not pain with cancer - at least i know slugger wasn't in pain.
