Actually that article made a lot of sense to me. I do feel that over doing the enemas has impacted my colon. I also know someone who has become completely reliant on laxatives after years of colonics. That being said, I do feel that occasional or short term use of enemas or colonics can be a necessity for some, especially when detoxing. When healing from a serious illness where die off is happening, or toxins are being released, an enema can stop the reabsorbtion and recirculation on toxic chemicals. I guess you have to weigh the benefits against the risk, and just be careful not to overdo.

I also use the Oxypowder on a regular basis. As Hannah said, I use it for the oxygen, but also because I have chronic constipation. I use the Oxypowder along with a little magnesium every day, which I need anyway for other reasons. I would think this would avoid some of the issues that the article mentioned that come with expanding the colon with water.
