Re: raw food diet

Hi there,

There's prepackaged (frozen) raw food available, incase you don't want to make your own:

http://www.nudimensionsnutrition.com/ this was my cats' all time favorite and is certified organic. its different than most raw foods in that turkey and rabbit are used, which are natural prey for kitties (moreso than beef and venison which are standard). They also have dog food too, of course. The raw foods all include bone (uncooked bone doesn't splinter and is very good for them.) Unfortunately I moved away from the southeast, and can't buy Nu Dimensions anymore. :( But if you're in their selling area, I highly recommend it.

Currently I'm using Nature's Variety BARF which is available all over by doing a search on the web. It has extra ingredients like chlorella and some other things. 2 of my cats won't touch it, I think because of the extra ingredients that they have. I tried giving my cats chlorella by itself, which is one of the extra ingredients in it, and they didn't go for it. (but my cat did look Very Cute with a chlorella green face that he got from lying in the stuff). My one cat, Chloe, that is eating Nature's Variety just looks so much better. Her coat went from being completely dandruff ridden to being Gorgeous in a week. Boy was I surprised, I didn't think it would work that fast.

There's also another brand, billingshurt. I haven't tried it. http://www.barfworld.com/

Best,
Lisa
