One person Ankylosing Spondylitis, to no pain...
My husband suffered from Ankylosing Spondylitis for over 30 years. His pain was so severe he would sleep sitting up, and take Naproxen each and EVERY night, though one time the very same caused him spinal meningitis and he was hospitalized for one week in absolute and utter pain and misery. [See note at end]
Since Jan. 2005 I made a commitment to start veering onto better health and of course my husband ventures to try some of my findings.
Here's what he has done - he has been completely pain free NO MEDS for a few months now.
1 - Liver cleanse - Dr. clark's (once only)
1 - Massage w/tallow (once only)
1/2
oz. apple cider vinegar first thing each morning (Raw, unfiltered, organic)
NO SODA POP AT ALL
NO DIET DRINKS AT ALL
NO CANDY BARS or cakes
Lots of water
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper in juice of 1/2 lemon with/pinch of Celtic
Sea Salt each morning.
1 TBS. Cod Liver Oil each Morning
1 Brazil Nut each Morn. (Selenium)
B12 + B Complex sublingual each day
Cut back on pastas, breads
add more greens
Lots of fresh garlic and lemon
He's not religious about his daily intakes, skipping things here and there.
When ACV is stopped: pain returns.
Thus: better diet (alkaline) more fresh juices (we juice often now), and no
table salt would be best, but the above comprise what he loosely has committed to, and which has helped him to obtain MARKED relief, no pain, and uninterrupted sleep.
Sporadic things he tried:
Zapping (works temporarily combo w/ liver cleanse caused extremely swollen lymphs, relieved w/castor oil pack)
Ozonated water
Soak feet in distilled vinegar daily for about 2 weeks then 2 weeks in Hydrogen Peroxide (store bought - used for other reasons - but who knows if it assisted?)
I only add these because maybe the combination of things helped to rid his body of toxins. His swollen lymphs were under the neck and it was HUGE, lasted for about one week.
Maybe some of this will work to relieve pain for some other person(s) while they work on an overall health plan.

note:
"
On very rare occasions, some medications can cause meningitis, including carbamazepine (Tegretol), co-trimoxazole (Bactrim, Septra, TMP-SMX), nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen and naproxen), levamisole (Ergamisol), metronidazole (Flagyl), immune globulin, and the mumps and rubella vaccines."

(cause was not made official - but I watched my husband take 400mg Naproxen night after night...)
04/03/08:
Husband now just eating healthier - no daily routines (not even ACV)
No relapse of
Arthritis or pain.
