Yahoo has a good group and it is called ortho-dog. Our dog had 2 leg surgeries on the same leg. I have been giving him Syn-flex http://www.activexamerica.com since then, about 2+ years ago. From there I also learned you can give them MSM and Ester-C vitamins. I put a pinch of each in his food. Syn-flex has directions on the bottle, it is used by humans. It is a glucosamine complex.
I felt it has helped.
