Re: Rotator cuff frozen for a year and recent spasms in back - related?

dont do surgery! ar at least leave it as a last resort!
massage tehrapy is what you need to be trying out. i have been practicing massage for a few years now and i cant tell you how easy it is to fix a frozen shoulder. make sure you go to a therapist that has experinece with rotator cuff injuries!
it usually takes a few sessions to get it out, but we do all the work so its worth a try |(though im warning you...it can be painful to work in that area|! less painful than surgery)
also, the other thing sounds like you have some nerve compression. often the rotators on the inside of the armpet area get so tight they compress the nerves and cause all sorts of 'electric/lightening' feelings and spasms. again, it can be fixed through massage as well

but like i said, find a good, experienced therapist for this|! someone who does injiry work/deep tissue/myofascial release techniques. swedish will do ya no good|!
