Re: Prettysoulful: is HCL still giving you allergies?
I wish I could shed some light on that topic. Unfortunately, I had to discontinue my HCl due to accidental ingestion of gluten, and subsequent damage that responded painfully to HCl.
I have, as of today, begun trying the HCl again after a few weeks of healing, and am watching for signs of pain. I am only at one capsule right now, so I have a way to go. I do, however, believe that regular consumption of HCl will help to reduce many allergies as the extra HCl assist in the breakdown of proteins that lead to allergic reactions in the presence of leaky gut.
I also have the understanding that adequate
Iodine levels will naturally increase the production of HCl as will adequate salt consumption and glycine. Since I have had to remove the HCl, I have increased my
Iodine consumption with Iosol, and my glycine with bis-glycinate chelated minerals. I hope some of this helps.
Good luck.
