Is it ok to give black walnut to cats?

Cure Bad Breath!
Herbal cure for bad breath

A friend of mine has 2 cats and can't deworm them properly with normal dewormers from the vets as it makes them sick. Would it be safe for her to give them Black-Walnut ? Any other suggestions?
