Actually that is EXPENSIVE. $30 is a lot for probiotics. There are many other brands out there - the way to tell which are "live and active" and which are useless is to buy a bottle, put a capsule (opened) of it into milk and set the milk in a place that is about 90 to 100 degrees (not much warmer). It should become yogurt in 24 hours. Lots of brands, for MUCH LESS than $30, will do this.
"Zapp" is someone who posts on this forum that actually the best way to multiply your probiotic intake by thousands is to buy a bottle of probiotics and make yogurt regulurly using the capsules. The good guys in the capsule will have multiplied in the yogurt by the time you eat it, giving you lots more of them than if you had only taken the capsule.
