Hello, with "operation", do you mean an ablation? And this did not solve the problem and you still have to take medication? I myself have attacks of tachycardia due to an extra electrical pathway in my heart (reentry tachycardia). During these attacks, my heart beats 250-300 per minute during 1-2 hours. Fortunately, this only happens 3-4 times a year and even a regular cardiologist advised against taking medication with such unfrequent attacks.

I zap a couple of times a week (because of parasites, as I often eat raw meat) and have never experienced any problems with that. However, I don't think zapping will solve the rhythm problem either. What I have noticed is that my attacks are linked with sugar/carbs and alcohol. That’s really obvious if you see when they happen: during carnival night, after an office party loaded with junk food and cheap wine, after two weeks of vacation in an all-inclusive resort, etc. So maybe that's something for you to consider as well. Also, check whether you are getting enough magnesium, as this is very important for a regular heart rhythm. I take a pinch of magnesium sulphate every day and, when I have eaten too much sugar, I can sometimes prevent an attack by taking a larger dose like a tablespoon (with "prevent" I mean that my heart will then only beat something like 140 instead of 300…).
