Re: Diverticulisis

Hi Reinasunshine,

The articles we have posted on our website are very informative. We get a lot of questions about IBS and Diverticulitis. I'm glad our articles were of help to you.

Diverticulitis can be successfully managed by diet. Foods such as seeds, nuts and excess roughage should be avoided as they can get into the diverticuli pockets and cause discomfort. You can live with Diverticuitis and actually begin healing if you watch what you eat.

On the other hand, IBS can attack at any time. There are certain trigger foods that may bring on an attack, but for the most part stress and hormone imbalance are the key factors of this disease.

Your friend should be able to distinguish the difference with these facts in mind. Anyone having symtoms of either of these two ailments should see a doctor and be made aware of all information and options available for treatment.

This is just a quick review. You should refer back to our articles or do additional research if more information is required. I'll be glad to help if you want me to.

Good luck to you both.

Namaste,

Ask Kelley
