The best part of the recovery this time around was not going to the doctor and feeling like I had to take antibiotics and Codeine based cough syrup because the after math of the flu/cold lasted so long and left me unable to function. Because of this I also felt that I had to get the flu shot to prevent to this kind of suffering. Not this time around. If alkalizing acid rebalancing and moreless drinks helped strengthen my immune system to quickly fight off the cold/flu and prevent complications, then I am a lifer and don't need anymore convincing.
