I just wanted to thank you for the advice you gave me over in the colon cleanse forum. I have been taking acidophilus as you advised, and my BM's are no longer loose!! They are formed, and the gas pain is subsiding. Thank GOD! I am going to wait a few weeks before I start the colon cleanse again and I think I am going to use oxypowder this time. My question is: you said that it sounded like what went wrong was that the good bacteria was wiped out along with the bad due to the cleanse I took. You advised me to eat binding foods and to take acidophilus for the next week or two and that the colon should be rebalanced in about 4-5 days. Does that mean I had candida? B/C I know that that can take MONTHS to clear up, not days. Just curious if there was a difference between what you said may have happened in my situation (good bacteria wiped out,) and candida. I am feeling better as I said, but I'm going to give it more time before I start the colon cleanse again. My second question is, do you think it was the prune juice that caused the cleanse to be so harsh on my system? Meaning, do you think if I try the P&B shakes again and give it a little more time, without the prune juice, I will have the same reaction? I only completed 2 days on the cleanse and on the second day is when I took the prune juice and that's when I experienced difficulties. If so, what is your opinion on Oxypowder? Thanks for all of your help and I'm sorry this is so loong =). I'm very anxious to get clean!!
